Tuesday 3 July 2007 – We went back to one of the rehab centers we worked with before. This is a men center where most people used drugs of some sort and are now in a plan of recovery. I had the opportunity this week to teach on the topic of codependency. It was good, but hard for me. It was good, because I know that statistics show that an overwhelming number of people who go through rehab pick up this type of addictive behavior. I was about to share about it passionately, but I did not feel confident about the teaching. It was the first time I spoke on it. But I saw how God work on the people there by challenging their understanding of what is to be in a good relationship. Next week I will continue teaching on this subject by offering steps to healing.
