Today’s entry is more of a summary of various events then a daily breakdown of ministry. As you know I’m in California on family business. I did not realize that God would use me her too to draw people closer to Him. There are three occasions that stick out in my mind over the course of the last 10 days when I said how God was using me to bring truth to the person.
The first time was with a woman who we were having a friendly conversation. I felt God prompted me to pose a more serious question. I asked if it was all right to offer a deeper question. I saw through that one question God open up trust to the woman. She understood better why she was feeling the way is was and what God wanted her to do. I did nothing but ask questions and speak from my own personal life. God filled in it in and help her to see how everything related together. I pray that she will continue to seek God for help and growth, so that she can live in the freedom that God gave us through his son, Jesus.
The next two times were guys. It was not as striking as with the women. She was more open and hungry for help from God. But the time was good. I don’t know why God does it this way through me sometimes, but I was prompted to ask a question that I thought was farfetched. I asked if I could ask a more serious question and told each of them that if they did not want to answer it would be all right with me. I put forth the question and in seconds we were talking about more meaningful things. We talked about where they were with God, fears, believes, etc. I know that God used me to challenge them as they seek after him with their whole hearts.
I’m here in California for another 12 days. I pray that God will continue to use me in unexpected ways to bring glory to his name.
